EAT or Ecuador Agricultural Tour is unique in its focus, which is on the agricultural communities of Ecuador.
“The Raymikuna or ritual parties coincide with the two solstices and the two annual equinoxes. The equinoxes occur twice a year: in March and September. The celebrations are related to the Andean agricultural cycle and its main reference is corn.
There are four cycles: Koya Raymi (September 21), Capac Raymi (December 21), Pawkar Raymi (March 21) and Inti Raymi (June 21).
